Write when you get stuck; it is solved faster with a file. In the program, Settings › Report a problem sends the log with personal paths hidden.
Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every job runs on your computer. The internet is used only for sign-in and the subscription check.
Do I need GTA V or Blender?
No. With GTA V (Legacy) present, cars show with the game's shared textures; Blender is never needed.
The game catalogues look empty.
The catalogues are built from your GTA V install. Under Settings › Folders › GTA V pick the folder with GTA5.exe (Legacy); the first build takes a few minutes.
Can it open locked (escrow) files?
No. Locked .fxap files do not open; the program works only with open files and the game's own files.
I moved to a new computer.
Remove the old computer on the account page and sign in on the new one.
